Powerball jackpot moves to $200 million Saturday, March 20th, 2021; Three players won the second prize

The grand prize for Saturday Powerball game built to $200 million (lump-sum cash payout $136.5 million) after no one matched all six winning numbers Wednesday night. The numbers from Wednesday, March 17th, 2021 drawing were 34, 38, 42, 61, 62 and Powerball number was 19.
Even though the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. There were three 2nd prize winning tickets from Wednesday night's drawing, matching all five numbers but not the Powerball number. The three lucky ticket(s) purchased in Michigan(1), New York(1) and South Carolina(1), each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional prizes won Wednesday evening included 8 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 3 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash! In addition, 336 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 82 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! 747 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 237 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to win a total win of $200 each.
With nine ways to win, the Wednesday night's drawing generated 644,365 winning tickets across the nation with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is an American popular lottery game sold in 44 member states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Powerball drawings are held 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. To play, pick 5 numbers from 1 to 69 then select one Powerball number from a set of 26.
