No jackpot ticket sold. Saturday's Powerball jackpot builds to $750,000,000

The Powerball grand prize increased because nobody hit all five lotto numbers plus the Powerball number from Wednesday night's $687,000,000 drawing. The next jackpot increased to $750,000,000 for Saturday night's drawing. The lump-sum cash payout stands at an estimated $$357.3 million. The numbers from Wednesday night, March 20th, 2024 were 13-22-27-54-66 with Power Ball number 09. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 34 draws since Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024. A single lucky player from Michigan walked away with 810,000,000 jackpot in Monday, January 1st, 2024 drawing.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with huge prizes. A total of 33 lucky winners won the third prize. These included 27 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 646 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 144 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! There were 1672 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 467 additional players not just matched 3+1, and also bought the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
There were 108,277 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. There were three lucky Florida players matched 4 white ball numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000. 204 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. 47 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will collect $200 each.
With nine prize tiers, there were a total of 1,236,695 tickets across U.S. won $0 prizes in the Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 drawing.
Powerball game can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball game uses a 5/69+1/26 system to randomly pick winning numbers. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Power Play option, which increases the original winnings except jackpot. The odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The chances of matching all six Powerball numbers are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot is 40 million dollar. Its annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments.
