Powerball jackpot jumps to $157 million Saturday night; 2 players matched the first five numbers

Wall Street is not the only place where fortunes are made and lost these days. One fortune is going to be up for grabs on Saturday, when Powerball has $157 million on the line. The lump-sum cash payout stands at an estimated $108.2 million. Powerball's jackpot went up since nobody hit all 5 white ball numbers plus the Powerball number drawn Wednesday night. The winning numbers from Wednesday, May 5th, 2021 drawing were 16-23-28-40-63 and Powerball number was 01.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were 2 tickets that matched all 5 white ball numbers and won the second prize. The 2 lucky ticket(s) sold in Florida(1) and Michigan(1), each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Also, 8 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.
