The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing soars to $268 million

There has been another roll-over in the jackpot for the multistate Powerball - to $268 million. The cash value stands at a projected $184.2 million up for grab. The jackpot grew because nobody matched all five lotto numbers and the Powerball number from Saturday night's $253 million drawing. The winning numbers drawn Saturday night, May 29th, 2021 were 11-13-22-27-46 with Power Ball 20. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 135 draws since Saturday, February 15th, 2020. The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in Michigan, matched all six numbers for a $70.00 million top prize.
Although the grand prize was not awarded Saturday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There were a total of 23 3rd prize lucky winners with or without Power Play option. These included 20 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Saturday night included 522 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 152 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash! Additional prizes won Saturday night included 1091 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $100. 322 additional tickets of this prize level were also purchased with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.
There were 68,034 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. There were three lucky Florida players matched 4 lotto numbers and also the Powerball and won $10,000. 150 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. There were 44 lucky Florida players won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With 9 different prize levels, there were 770,409 tickets across U.S. won a total of $0 prizes in the Saturday, May 29th, 2021 drawing.
America's favorite Powerball is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. Powerball uses a 5/69+1/26 system to randomly choose winning numbers. The odds of winning is about 1 to 32. The odds of winning Powerball jackpot are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot starts at $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment installments. Winners may select one-time lump sum cash payout option instead.
