No jackpot winning ticket sold. Powerball jackpot increases to $400,000,000 Saturday, December 2nd, 2023

The jackpot in America's favorite Powerball lottery is on the move. Because no player correctly hit all five lotto numbers plus the Powerball number in Wednesday's drawing, the jackpot will leap to $400,000,000! The cash option stands at a projected $$185.6 million. The winning numbers from Wednesday night, November 29th, 2023 were 06, 47, 50, 61, 68 and Powerball number was 04.
While the grand prize was not awarded Wednesday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There were a total of 8 third prize winning tickets. There were 2 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Additional prizes won Wednesday night included 236 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 72 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, but additionally bought the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each! 620 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 208 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to win a total win of $200 each.
With nine prize levels, the Wednesday night's drawing created 539,438 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. offered in 44 participating states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. Powerball game uses a 5/69+1/26 matrix from which winning numbers are chosen. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to spend $1 extra to buy the Power Play, which increases the original prizes except jackpot. The overall odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The chances of matching 6 Powerball numbers are about 1 in 292 million. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot is $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments in 29 years. Winners may select one-time lump-sum cash payout option instead.
