The jackpot in the multi-state Mega Millions drawing increased to $800,000,000 for the Tuesday drawing. The cash option will be $$344.2 million. None of the tickets sold for Friday's $743,000,000 drawing hit 6 numbers. The numbers drawn Friday night, July 24th, 2026 were 02, 05, 42, 44, 60 with Mega Ball 01 and Megaplier x. The Mega Millions grand prize has been growing for 139 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $344 million top prize.
Though there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. There were a total of 13 third prize winning tickets. Among them, 13 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.
Other winners Friday night included 272 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. There were 789 tickets that matched three white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $200.
With nine different ways to win, there were 1,000,514 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Friday, July 24th, 2026 drawing.
Mega Millions is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. sold in 44 lottery jurisdictions as a shared jackpot game. It holds the record biggest jackpot in North American lottery history.
